Haiti - July 2010 Update
Thanks to the generous donations that we received in response to the earthquake disaster in Haiti, we were able to hit the ground running. At this point in time, we have invested approximately half of this year's Haiti program budget and expect to spend the balance in the expansion program that is already underway.

They will have a positive impact on the ability of the Water School to deliver our ever expanding programs of clean water for life to the marginalized children of the world.
Kili2010 | Climb for CLEAN WATER
On March 6th 2010, 27 individuals from around the world completed the Climb for Clean Water on behalf of the Water School. The climb raised money for sustainable clean water initiatives in third world countries. This initiative raised almost $150,000 thanks to generous sponsors like you. Your support will save lives and supply children and families with the tools they need to provide clean water for life!
Haiti
The current situation in Haiti has left hundreds of thousands of Haitians without safe drinking water for the foreseeable future. The Water School plans to be actively involved in the rebuilding program in health, sanitation and clean drinking water in Haiti.
Partnering in Kenya
In the vast plains of Kajiado district in Kenya, a group of 21 Canadians traversed past rough terrain, avoiding wild animals in the scorching sun. Why were they there? To spread Ray of Hope to the Maasai community in the area.

Descent's Story
Kiwoko is a small town located in the infamous Luwero triangle of Uganda. It was here that war raged, and the regime of Idi Amin devastated thousands of Ugandans, leaving them with painful scars. After all these years, these scars have still not gone away.
Grace's Story
Grace Achieng’ speaks confidently and brightly. At only seventeen years of age, Grace is heading a family. Grace and her five siblings are among the 1.5 million children orphaned by HIV/AIDS in Kenya. They live in Nyanza province, the worst hit with the scourge.
