TWS has just completed a partnership with The University of British Columbia, Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering to study new techniques to bring inexpensive and sustainable drinking water to those in need. The work will be undertaken in a 2 year Masters program by Bradley Pierik under the direction of Professor Madjiid Mohseni, Ph.D, P.Eng. Dr. Mohseni and his group of students are working in co-operation with RES'EAU-WaterNET, a Canadian NSERC research program. RES'EAU-WaterNET is Canada's first and only research network devoted exclusively to developing innovative, low-cost technologies for providing clean drinking water to small and rural communities, particularly Canada's First Nations peoples.
